Today we woke up 8 AM and made poached eggs for the first time on a stove. They turned out very good!
When all of us were ready, we drove to Dream World.
The first thing we did in there was walking to the aboriginal part of the park called "Corroboree".
There you could pat real kangaroos. That was SO COOL! They were really soft and if you wanted you could feed them from your hand.
Then the Tiger Show started. There were three talented tigers who performed in the show.
In Dream World it was an area called Gold Rush where they had built the houses like in the old days. The cops there caught Elin...
After lunch (a nice chicken and avocado wrap that we had brought from home) we went to watch the sheep shearing show. Matilda got to pat a snake during the show.
One of the highlights of the day was when Jarred gave us a private lesson in how to play a Didgeridoo, right after a aboriginal weapon demonstration.
Here are some Aussie animals that we saw today:
Mr Emu
Crocodile Dundee
Koala Lou
"Niklas?", asked Matilda. "No, a Wombat", said Elin.
and Dingos.
We also had a ride in the slow train that circles around the park.
Last thing we did before we went home was to try two rides. This is "The Claw".
On the way home, we stopped and bought some things in the supermarket.
For dinner we had butter chicken with rice and for dessert we ate mini pavlovas with clementine, banana, custard apple (very good) and ice cream.

P.S. Today it was the coldest day in Queensland since 1984 because there is a Antarctic Vortex that has blown past. There has even been snowing in Queensland which is very rare! Here it was 16 degrees and cold winds, but no snow. D.S.
