Today Matilda woke up 7.00 AM to go for a run. Elin is having a cold, so she could not join and slept to 8.00 AM instead. When everyone were ready, we ate breakfast and then we got ready for today's activities.
First we went to Currumbin were we rented paddle boards for an hour.
It was very peaceful and fun to try.
Then we ate lunch. Of course we chose Eggs Benedict!
After that we drove to Tugun Beach and took a bath and tried to surf. It was high and strong waves compared to Sweden. The water temperature was around 20 degrees (not Fahrenheit ;-D ).

Then Matilda thought "Oh, I already have my bathers on... Why do I not try Kevin and Lyn's pool (it is not warmed up right now).", so she dived in quickly when we came home and got up even quicker. The water temperaure... 13 degrees.
After that we warmed up in the shower and then Kevin and Lyn drove us to Springbrook National Park. On our way, we saw a small Wallaby cross the road right in front of us.
There are many "Lookouts", but only one "Best Of All Lookouts" and we went there. The view were amazing!!!
Lyn and Kevin in front of the view (of New South Wales).
You can not drive past a Fudge Store without getting inside and bye a piece.
The last stop we did before driving back home was at Natural Bridge, still in Springbrook National Park. There has the river made a hole in the rock and a waterfall is made. We walked into the cave and when it became darker outside, we could spot small "starlights" in the ceiling of it. The "starlights" were actually small Glowing Worms. These worms can only be found in Australia and on New Zealand.

Then we drove back home and ate dinner. Today it was BBQ lamb chops and pork sausages with potatoes and salad.

For dessert we had Lyn's famous drink "Death by Chocolate" with fudge.
