Today we had a sleep in until 8.20 AM when we woke up and ate breakfast. Sam drove Magnus and Freya to school and we walked down to Hampton Train Station and caught the train to Flinders Street Station.
Here we are at Hampton Train Station. It was a nice day!
When we arrived to Flinders Street Station we had a look in some souvenir shops.
After a while we were a bit cold, so we thought we deserved a hot chocolate. Not a usual hot chocolate...
...Lindt Hot Chocolate!!! It was the highlight of the day. We have never tasted any better hot chocolate before. It came like this and we got to mix our own and of course we did not use all chocolate with the milk, we scooped some out and ate it with our spoons too... YUMMY!!!
Then we caught the train to Melbourne Central and wandered around in the mall there. Here is the famous "Shot Tower" inside the mall.
There were many levels and a big clock that played "Waltzing Matilda" every hour.
For lunch we had a chicken and avocado sandwich. It was nice.
"I carried a watermelon!... I carried a watermelon...?"
There was a lane above the street that you could walk through to the next mall "Emporium".
In the morning we passed an aboriginal lady who was painting on the ground and when we passed the same spot in the afternoon, this was how it had turned out. Very cool!
Then we caught the train back home to Hampton.
For dinner Sam made boiled vegetables with Salmon patties and a cold sauce. It tasted good.
We have to tell you that we actually had a lot more pictures from today on Elin's camera, but unfortunately something made them disappear... Hopefully it still works and is not broken.
We hope that you all enjoyed this post even though.
